NLRB Gives Up the Poster Fight!

By Linda H. Evans,

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) announced last week that it would not seek U.S. Supreme Court review of a pair of appeals court decisions striking down its rule requiring businesses to hang posters informing workers of their right to unionize.  Since the agency is not fighting the courts’ decisions, the rule will not go into effect.

However, employers are still required to hang other workplace compliance posters, which are available for free through the Texas Workforce Commission at www.texasworkforce.org/ui/lablaw/posters-workplace.html.
