Stormy N. Mayfield
Stormy Mayfield focuses mainly on government contract litigation. She has broad experience in Small Business Administration disputes and appeals before the SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, defense of protests before the Government Accountability Office, and defense of suits before the Court of Federal Claims. She also has experience in government contract compliance and contract management. Apart from her government contract practice, she also maintains a civil litigation practice here at Neel, Hooper & Banes. Before joining Neel, Hooper & Banes in 2009, Stormy worked mainly in commercial litigation.
Stormy earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2008, during which time she clerked for Buck, Keenan, Gage, Little & Lindley. In 2004, she received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology with minor in political science at the University of the South: Sewanee, where she was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen from 2002-2004, and chaired multiple community service groups.
